Bored...

I am bored to the bones....
it's been 2 weeks since George move to Sydney...
how time pass so slowly in Melbourne without him...
It seems like suddenly I have so much more time in the world, fill with nothing to do.

then...
24 hours used to be equals to short/not enough/fast/exciting....
time usually flies by as weeks....
because when u realize...a week has already pass
before I know it a month has pass

now...
24 hours equals to unbearable/bored/empty/too long...slow
just like when you are staring at the clock waiting for the minute hand to reach an hour.
60 turns.
I thought that I probably have used up 3 hours out of 24...
but in reality it is only 10 minutes since i last check ....

Is it too late to really appreciate times that we spent together and things that we did?
And thinking back now...all the little quarrels and fights seems to be such a waste.
I thought we have all the time in the world to spend together...but now we are in 2 different place.

If only i can fast forward time till we meet again...
if only...
a foolish wish...but will always hope that it comes true.

Photos....Photos...Photos

Busy...busy...busy
Have been really busy for the past 2 months.
from placements to gathering with friends, friends visiting Melbourne from Singapore, from sydney, 22nd birthday for me, numerous farewell dinners, parties and drinks for George, housewarming party of another friend and the least enjoyable of them all is assignments...

after lots of good food, good company, plenty of drinks, laughters and tears
A huge pile of photos is an inevitable effect..
of course my body suffers as well. but let's not talk abt that till later....

Let's start with the final farewell party for George...
George's friend, Andrew is so kind to host one for him at his place....

On Anzac weekend, Friends from Sydney came down and visited us.
we took them around...
Had plenty of good food and wine.
First Night:
Libertine, North Melbourne.
French restaurant.

venison tartare

Wild hare-3 different kind of preparation

Fresh water scampie-grilled to perfection and lined with truffle butter.

Wild bird for two...forgot what is the name of the bird hehe...

Braised Wagyu beef....
It was a nice dinner in a nice little restaurant.
We had the whole upper floor to ourself so we were able to make a huge amount of noise and not disturb other table. They even lit up the fireplace for us....romantic.
After 2 bottles of wine...
The night ended with a trip to the Crown casino....
won around $150 without even forking out a single dollar...
cos it's George's money I am playing with....hehe...for your information
I did give back half to him while I keep another half....
Was super tired after casino...only get to sleep at 3am that night.

The next day:
Bright and early around 9 am we head off to the Yarra Valley.
Grumpy George(due to lack of sleep and no breakfast) drove....as well as one of his friends
2 cars in total.... in no time we are on the roads to our destination.

Our stop at Balgownie Estate for lunch.....

Cheese at the De Bortoli winery....
Tasted blue cheese there....can't stand the saltiness of it.

The winery dogs of the De Bortoli...
they are so friendly and cute...

Having fun talking to them hehe...
George: Emma, they don't like you. Stop talking to them.

The Next stop
Chandon.....
I can officially announce that this winery is definitely the most beautiful one out of them all....
The trees were displaying different colours of autumn.
along the roads leading to the main gate and the surrounding as well...
I can fully understand why when they say people held their wedding here..
and I secretly wished the same as well....hehe...
The place is magnificent!!!!

See what I mean?

Chandon Cuvet Riche..exact bottle that George bought for Valentine's.

we head back towards the city around 3pm...
whilst the others head back to their hotel to rest before dinner...
we went to a housewarming party...
his place is huge...with an amazing view of the city.
I can just imagine what it will be like at night..
what a pity I didn't took any photos...oh well..

and of course at night we head out for dinner...
in the restaurant i talk about from the last post....
Vue De Monde

Kiama, NSW...
Remember the small little place that I visited before?
I finally got the photos...
So here they are...

At the beach...enjoying the weather

At the blowhole...
