What have i been up to these days?
Plenty...
Sorry for the amazingly long absence from this blog.
Time really fly fast.
I think I shall start with the most recent event then. Just got back from Sydney. This time we went to Hunter Valley, where all the Shiraz and Semillion of Australia come from.
Was there for 3days 2 night and stayed in a haunted house @.@
was scared to death for the first night after reading the entries from previous visitors to that house!
The house was a lovely old farm house however getting to the place wasn't at all lovely because the only access to the place is dirt gravel road. The loveliest part of this house is the bathroom, which has a cool underfloor heating. Thus making it the warmest place of the house.
The old phone really works but it gave us a jump when it rang*Spooky*
I love this bed...the best i have ever slept on so far. It's hard to get up once you lie on it.
Absolutely love this view..especially in the morning with lots of bird sound.
As for the most interesting part of this house, which we only found out when we got there was that the house still has some of it's original occupants. A boy with a tricycle and his granny and the boy would come out and play in the early morning of 3am! Previous visitor got woken up by his tricycle sounds on the veranda and the moving rocking chair. I heard the noise made by the tricycle on the first night but was too scared to validate the source of sound so I can just say that it's probably some sound from the heater in the next room.
The place was still lovely when the morning came, we found out that there were 4 cows munching grass on our front lawn! It's a pity that I was enjoying the moment and forgot to take the picture of 4 really cute cow eating...
Apart from the house we went around to a few wineries and I bought a few bottles of really nice ones.
